Summary
Adless Notes is a notepad that keeps your notes on your device. Akrinum OÜ does not collect, receive, or share your notes or your use of the app. The app has no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or subscriptions.
What the app stores
- Your notes: the titles and text you write, and the dates each note was created and last edited.
- Where: in a database inside the app's private storage on your device. Other apps cannot normally read that private storage.
- Akrinum OÜ has no copy of your notes and no way to access them through the app.
What the app sends
The app does not transmit your notes or usage information to Akrinum OÜ or third parties. It includes no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking software, and does not require an internet connection to work.
When your notes can leave your device
- Backups you export. You can export your notes to a backup file and choose where to save it, or share it with another app. Backup files are not encrypted: anyone with access to the file can read your notes. A file you save or share is handled by the destination you choose, subject to that service's own terms and privacy policy.
- Android device backup. Depending on your device's settings, Android may include app data, including notes, in a device backup (for example, through your Google account) or in a transfer to a new device. This is controlled by Android and your Google account settings, not by Adless Notes, and is handled under Google's terms.
Permissions
Adless Notes does not ask for runtime permissions while you use it. When you export or import a backup, Android's system file picker or share sheet is used, and the app accesses only the file or folder you select for that action.
Deleting your data
- You can delete individual notes inside the app.
- Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in Android settings deletes the notes stored by the app on that device.
- Backup files you exported are not deleted automatically; you can delete them wherever you saved them.
- Copies in Android device backups are managed through Android or your Google account settings.
Because Akrinum OÜ does not receive your notes, we cannot retrieve or delete them on your behalf.
Children
Adless Notes does not collect personal data from users, including children, through the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
